The Business Leader’s
Group acts as a mechanism
to establish and maintain
strong relationships with
some of the Borough’s
largest employers. The
group meets bi-monthly
and seeks to create unique
solutions to identified
business issues affecting
Reigate & Banstead’s
businesses and economy.
The It’s Local Business
Directory is a database of
over 1,000 local businesses
which allows local residents
to find and support them.
We support a range of
informative workshops
and networking
opportunities for local
businesses, including
Learning Lunches which
are held at the Town Hall
each month. They allow
local businesses to hear
informative speakers and
to connect with other
businesses.
The business e-bulletin
is sent out monthly to
1,800 local businesses
promoting events,
networking opportunities,
funding opportunities,
other business news
and information.
Business Support Grants
provide up to £1,000 for
micro businesses with
fewer than four employees
based in the borough.
The Entrepreneur Academy
started in 2013 and runs
annually in conjunction
with East Surrey College.
It provides start-up
entrepreneurs with the
knowledge and skills they
need to set up and run
their new businesses,
as well as the opportunity
to compete in a ‘Dragons’
Den’ style pitch to win
£5,000 business investment.
